The Role
This Global Business Analyst position sits within the Global IT function, working closely with business stakeholders and colleagues across global and regional IT teams.
SAP Business Analyst / £500 - £600pd Outside IR35 / Manchester (2 Days a week on Site) / 3 Months Initially - Urgent (Interviews by 29/08 at the latest)
The Role
This Global Business Analyst position sits within the Global IT function, working closely with business stakeholders and colleagues across global and regional IT teams. The role requires building strong relationships, supporting multiple aspects of the Global SAP solution-including Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Project Systems (PS), integration with SAP BW (including BPC), and Oracle FCCS-and taking ownership for managing workload and priorities independently.
Accountabilities

Support the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream of the organisation's Global SAP solution.

Act as custodian for global business processes supported by SAP, driving consistency across regions.

Promote standardised SAP processes and adoption wherever possible.

Assess proposed changes to SAP for feasibility, impact, strategic alignment, and priority.

Translate business requirements into clear specifications for the AMS provider, reducing the need for rework before testing.

Manage and coordinate testing and training to ensure smooth adoption of changes.

Provide deep SAP expertise, sharing best practices and troubleshooting methods to improve solution performance.

Support the change/release plan to ensure changes are delivered on time and effectively.

Contribute to the Design Authority with insights and recommendations to support sound decision-making.
Key Skills / Requirements

Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including working with third-party vendors.

Solid understanding of business processes, gained through ERP implementations and/or business environments.

7+ years' experience implementing or supporting ERP systems, ideally SAP, within a complex international setting.

Experience working in a matrix organisation.

Technical knowledge of SAP ECC modules; knowledge of SAP BW is advantageous.

Proven track record of working successfully in cross-functional teams.

Experience driving business process improvements through IT.

Strong organisational and planning skills.
