We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join the day shift team at a busy and modern Dealership in Middleton. If you're looking for a consistent 4 on 4 off pattern with great pay and support, this is a solid opportunity.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and rectify efficiently
- Complete all relevant paperwork and job records accurately
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Liaise with parts department to ensure smooth job flow
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician
Essential
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern
Desirable
- HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
- IRTEC accreditation
- Experience in dealership or fleet environments
