We're looking for a talented HGV technician level 2-3 to work for our client in Manchester Area.

The Role:

As the HGV technician you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.

Candidate will be covering motorways and trunk roads across Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire.

Pay will be 18 p/h.


In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
-Repairs to Gritting fleet- (must have experience in winter gritting vehicles)
-diagnoses, services, and repairs heavy goods vehicles (HGVs),
-ensuring they're roadworthy and compliant with safety standards (DVSA/VOSA) through maintenance,
-fault-finding (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic)
-breakdown assistance

Requirements:
-BPSS- Standard for National Highways contracts
-strong technical knowledge of heavy vehicles.
-Proficiency with hand/power tools and specialist diagnostic software
-Understanding of DVSA/VOSA standards and UK road safety regulations.
-Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team


In addition, you'll need the following:
- An excellent communication, team work
- An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)
