Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an independent planning consultancy based at the edge of Manchester city centre. They are seeking proactive and pragmatic planners at various levels including senior, associate and director level, to help their clients successfully navigate the planning system.

They are a small, close-knit team who love what they do. They work with people they like, they are proud of their team and their work, and like to stay on the front foot. They take responsibility for the impact they have through their work and expect the same of everyone they work with.

What They Are Looking For:

My client are looking for an experienced, chartered senior town planner, associate or an associate director who can hit the ground running. They love to see people that get excited about planning policy and are practical about implementing it. Solid commercial awareness coupled with excellent knowledge of current and emerging planning legislation are a must.

They value a strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty. Good communication is key, both for building client and team relationships and in your writing skills. They also encourage career-long learning - there's always something new to learn.

You will note that they are not seeking a specific number of years' experience or qualifications or market expertise. They are seeking someone who will fit readily into their team and ways of working.
