Role: Warehouse Assistant
Salary: £13.75 per hour including holiday pay (£12.25 with accrued holiday pay)
Location: Trafford Park
Work Pattern: Full time, Mon to Fri 0800am to 1630

We are looking to fill two Warehouse Assistant vacancies for a valued client on a temp to perm basis. This means that you will complete a set period working at this site for Driver Hire before moving seamlessly over to the client on a permanent basis.

Duties for the Warehouse Assistant Role will consist of (but not limited to)…

• Running and maintaining of the trade counter
• Dealing with customers on hiring off hiring of equipment
• Raising customer orders
• Dealing with deliveries in and out
• Picking orders for the next day
• Dealing with goods in and out new plant process
• Cycle counting spares and equipment
• Checking and identifying discrepancies whilst checking drivers in at the end of the shift
• General housekeeping

The role requires the use of a computer tablet so successful Warehouse Assistant candidates would need to be IT literate, and be able to work off their own initiative.

During quieter periods the successful Warehouse Assistant candidates will be required to carry out other tasks to suit business needs, such as helping engineers with tasks, offering the opportunity to upskill and therefore progress and work their way up within the company.

Successful Warehouse Assistant will receive hourly rate of £12.25 per hour, plus whilst in initial temp to perm period will receive holiday pay paid in advance at a rate of 12.07% - therefore, bumping rate up to £13.75 per hour.
