We’re looking for a dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to take full ownership of a 24/7 warehouse operation, leading a large and diverse team to deliver outstanding service, safety, and efficiency. This role is all about driving performance through people, ensuring that KPIs are consistently met while creating an environment where colleagues are engaged, motivated, and set up for success.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Leading and inspiring a team across multiple shifts to deliver operational excellence and hit key performance targets
  • Driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all warehouse functions
  • Managing resources and budgets effectively to achieve financial targets without compromising on service or compliance
  • Ensuring full operational compliance with QHSE, sustainability standards, and all legal requirements
  • Overseeing stock control processes to minimise waste and maintain product availability
  • Leading change initiatives and process improvements to maximise efficiency and team engagement
  • Building strong relationships across the operation and acting as a key link between departments
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing large teams in a fast-moving warehouse or distribution environment
  • A strong background in food wholesale or food manufacturing within a multi-temperature facility (essential)
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to engage, develop, and motivate your team
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
  • Confident decision-maker who can thrive in a high-pressure, time-critical environment
  • A proactive problem solver with a track record of delivering improvements and driving change
