Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer (FMCG)
Location: Manchester
Shift Pattern: Continental 12 hour shifts (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off)

iO Associates is seeking for Shift Maintenance Engineer to Join a fast-paced FMCG environment, ensuring smooth operation of high-speed canning and kegging lines. Focus on maintenance, quick fault recovery, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot highly automated packaging machinery.
• Support operational teams in minimizing downtime and boosting output.
• Lead and contribute to root cause and failure analysis initiatives (Kaizen, RCA, TPM).
• Use CMMS systems to manage planned maintenance and record interventions.

Requirements:

• Recognised trade qualification (NVQ/CITB Apprenticeship or HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering)
• Strong electrical bias preferred
• Experience in fast-moving, safety-critical manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in CMMS and structured maintenance processes
