Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, were enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

What will you be doing?
Youll apply knowledge of fibre and networking principles to deliver project completion across various delivery solutions across Customer sites.
Youll be ensuring that Health & Safety and company quality standards are always adhered to, end to end testing of circuits, Installation, and commissioning of telecommunications equipment working with other colleagues or departments where required.
Youll be collaborating with project engineers to shape a safe methodology for deployment of works to then execute planning installation once on site in a safely manner.
Youll be escalating incidents to H&S and Operations Manager as needed.
Youll be assisting with analysis of the root cause of faults and aid with other departments.
Youll be undertaking site surveys
Completing site audits by schedule agreed with Engineering Operations Manager
Responsible for all contractors working under our RAMS, as Principal Contractor and Competent Pearson role played on site.
Youll be completing assigned training in a timely manner to maintain certification and up-skill on works related to other existing/new customers.
Youll be Maintaining and reporting condition of assigned vehicles, equipment, tools and PPE.
Youll be recommending improvements and cost reductions where identified.

What youll bring?
  • Strong problem-solving skills and LAN/WAN knowledge, including Ethernet setup.
  • Proven track record in installation, termination, and testing of SWA, Cat5/6, fibre, and copper cabling.
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of telecom racks, chargers, PDH/SDH equipment (Alcatel, Avara, Nokia), and cooling systems.
  • Experience with FOX, Ericsson, ADVA, and Eltek systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of configuring routers, switches, and muxes, conducting fault finding, and perform industry-standard testing is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are also required.
