Your roles and responsibilities as a Behaviour Buddy:

  • Educate and engage children with special educational needs, focusing on promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Support children in developing appropriate communication skills
  • Provide one-on-one guidance and supervision during activities
  • Help create a safe and inclusive environment for all children
  • Assist with daily routines, including personal care if required

Non-negotiables for a Behaviour Buddy:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy and the ability to build rapport with children
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
