Job Title: Lecturer - Foundation Studies

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £32,000-£45,000

FT and PT available

The successful Lecturer in Foundation studies will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience working with students/young adults in either a high school setting, college setting or support and care setting.

• A good understanding and commitment to Safeguarding

• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.

Duties:

• To teach on a range of courses within the School of Foundation Studies, focusing on Access to FE programmes

• To prepare students for Edexel and City and Guilds portfolios and Functional Skills exams

• To direct and work with Learning Support Assistants within the classroom

• To participate in residential trips/activity days within Foundation Studies
