SEND Teacher – Full-time, long-term maternity cover from January 2026This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified SEND Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive KS2 setting from January 2026 for a 12-month maternity cover. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to KS2 pupils with complex sensory and behavioural needs
Implement individual education plans and behaviour support strategies
Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic care
Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Contribute to wider school life and uphold safeguarding responsibilities

Ideal SEND Teacher:

Holds QTS and relevant SEND qualifications
Has substantial experience working with pupils with complex sensory and behavioural needs
Demonstrates strong classroom management and differentiation skills as a SEND Teacher
Is confident in developing and implementing EHCPs and behaviour plans
Works effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Is committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
