An established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team in central Manchester. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in legal compliance, risk management, or professional regulation.The role:The successful Compliance Analyst can look forward to joining a collaborative and knowledgeable team, supporting the smooth running of the firm's compliance and regulatory framework. This role offers a wide range of responsibilities with scope to grow and develop in a fast-paced legal environment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out procedural file reviews across different departments in the firm
  • Handling day-to-day compliance queries from staff
  • Maintain SRA records and assisting with practising certificate renewals
  • Coordinating onboarding for new starters from a compliance perspective
  • Updating central registers and supporting breach logging and data protection processes
  • Assisting with regulatory training and preparation for external accreditations (e.g., Lexcel, CQS)
  • Supporting with legal research and general compliance administration
About you:
  • The ideal Compliance Analyst will have prior experience in an office admin role, exposure to compliance processes would be extremely beneficial
  • A genuine interest in compliance, risk, and legal regulation is essential
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business
  • A basic understanding of compliance in a law firm
