This exciting opportunity requires a seasoned Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications who will lead and develop communications and stakeholder engagement strategies. The role is based in vibrant Manchester, and is integral to the growth of this Public Sector organisation.

Description

  • Delivery of strategic communications and engagement strategy and plans in line with corporate priorities and professional standards, providing an effective service to executive, partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and delivery of a Channels Strategy to ensure the organisation continually makes the best and most effective use of all available channels.
  • Lead the delivery of all aspects of public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, political & media monitoring, launches & event management, award submissions, internal & external communications
  • Manage and enhance relationships with key stakeholders within the Transport & Distribution sector.
  • Oversee the production of effective and engaging communication materials.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align communication and engagement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure the company's brand values are consistently represented.

Profile

A successful 'Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications' should have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading communication and engagement teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Public Sector.
