Randstad Education is hiring a PMLD Teacher in Manchester!

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced "Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) Teacher" to join a school in Manchester. If you're committed to delivering tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a PMLD Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with PMLD.
  • Assessing students' progress and adapting teaching strategies to maximise learning outcomes.
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and development.
  • Contributing to the overall development and improvement of the school's PMLD provision.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year's experience teaching PMLD students in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service, or willing to apply for one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience working with the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for supporting students with PMLD to reach their full potential.
  • Experience working with diverse learning styles and needs.
