My Client is recruiting for a Senior or Principal Process Engineer in the Water Sector
This position is for a Senior or Principal Process Engineer working on Water Sector Projects.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements.
- Identify efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits and communicate these to client and project team
- Direct and more junior designers and graduates.
- Prepare design risk assessments, reports and specifications.
- Carry out mass balance, process sizing and hydraulic calculations and prepare process flow diagrams, control philosphies and commissioning strategies
- Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards.
- Ensure project change for design package is fully implemented and recorded.
- Undertake work using formal processes and procedures.
- Estimate hours required for design packages
- Attend and present designs at HAZOP, ALM, KM meetings and similar
Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant design experience in the regulated water industry
- Experience and understanding of wastewater unit processes and treatment plant, with experience of delivering process design for wastewater projects
- Degree, HND or significant experience from Technician level
- Good level IT
- Ideally Chartered engineer
- Ideally Experience with both clean water and waste water
- Experience of HAZOP studies ideally as HAZOP chair
- Driving licence & access to vehicle
