This is not a paper-pushing Project Manager role.
This is for someone who knows how to own complex industrial projects, manage risk, and deliver safely in high-pressure environments.
Our client is a well-established industrial services business operating nationally, delivering technically challenging projects across heavy engineering, lifting, machinery installation, and industrial relocation.
They are growing and they need a Project Manager who can lead from the front.
The Role:
- You will take full responsibility for end-to-end delivery of industrial projects, from planning through execution to handover.
That means:
- Owning project scope, programme, cost, and safety
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
- Managing RAMS, lifting plans, and method statements
- Acting as the primary client interface
- Anticipating problems before they become incidents
- Delivering projects on time, safely, and profitably
- This role requires decisive leadership, not supervision from the sidelines.

You'll likely come from:
- Industrial services
- Heavy lifting / crane operations
- Engineering installation
- Mechanical or electrical project delivery
- Industrial maintenance or relocation projects
You should bring:
- Proven project management experience in industrial or engineering environments
- Strong understanding of site safety and risk management
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control
- A practical, solutions-led mindset
- Formal PM qualifications are useful, real-world delivery experience matters more.
