Planner or Senior Planner
Location: Manchester
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of the most successful and long-established land promoters.
Our client is looking for an experienced planner or senior planner to join the land and development team. They have an extensive land portfolio with a strong appetite to continue to grow the business and a planner or senior planner will play a key role in helping to drive the business forward. The key focus will be on strategic land promotion for both their owned stock and that of their landowner partners and identifying and assessing new opportunities.
They are a family-owned business and have an excellent track record of delivering fantastic results for their landowner partners. As a family-owned business they take great pride in the relationships they build with their landowner partners and take great care to manage those relationships through each and every project. This personable approach is a fundamental principle of how they operate.
As part of the Land and Development Team the successful candidate will be expected to have good knowledge and experience of the planning system and planning promotion, be that via local plan promotion and / or planning applications and appeals.
They are only a small team and whilst planning is the primary focus of the role there will also be the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of the development process (i.e. acquisition, disposal and development itself) should that be of interest.
If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to get involved in all aspects of strategic land promotion, we would love to hear from you.
