Senior Buyer - Beauty | North West | Value Retail | Salary up to £70k
A leading value retailer is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their Beauty team. This is a pivotal role for someone who loves trading fast-moving product, spotting emerging beauty trends, and creating ranges that excite customers and deliver strong results.
You'll be at the heart of developing beauty ranges that balance innovation, affordability and mass appeal - working in close partnership with Merchandising, Marketing and trusted suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead the development and execution of exciting beauty ranges aligned to trading and marketing plans

Build strong relationships with suppliers, identifying spot buys, negotiating the best costs and terms while spotting new brand opportunities

Present seasonal ranges and strategy to senior stakeholders, aligned to customer insight and commercial goals

Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams on campaign planning, product launches and promotional execution

Manage and support a small team, driving delivery through the critical path and supporting development

Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or equivalent, ideally within beauty, personal care or FMCG

Passion for product, trends and the evolving beauty landscape

Strong commercial acumen and a sharp eye for value-led innovation

Great leadership skills - clear, confident, collaborative

Experienced in a fast-paced retail environment and comfortable trading seasonally relevant ranges
