Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a pivotal role with a respected regional contractor in Manchester?

Our client is a well-established name in Greater Manchester, renowned for consistently delivering high-quality apartment and care home developments for over 30 years. They are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team, contributing to their ongoing success in creating exceptional living spaces.

The Role - Shaping Projects Commercial Success:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be integral to the commercial management of their diverse projects. You'll work closely with the commercial team, contract managers, and site supervisors, ensuring financial control and profitability from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Support: Assisting the wider project team with commercial issues arising from main contractors and subcontractors.
  • Payment Management: Overseeing, processing, and issuing regular subcontractor payments accurately and on time.
  • Final Account Expertise: Managing, compiling, negotiating, and agreeing final accounts with both main contractors and subcontractors.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable Quantity Surveyor experience.
  • Proficiency with the full MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an eye for detail.

While experience in residential build is beneficial, it is not essential as we value diverse project backgrounds.
