The Role:
Construo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable main contractor delivering fit out, refurbishment, and new build projects across the UK.
This is a key role within the commercial team, overseeing cost control, managing contracts, and ensuring the financial success of multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Preparation of valuations, variations, and cost reports
- Client and stakeholder liaison, ensuring commercial agreements are maintained
- Managing both NEC and JCT contract forms
- Supporting junior surveyors and contributing to team development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
- Strong background in fit out, refurbishment, and new build projects
- Detailed knowledge of both NEC and JCT contracts
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
