Description
As the Multi Skilled Engineer you will be responsible for the following;
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and repair faults to ensure operational efficiency is maintained.
- Working on equipment such as; Conveyors, fillers, bottling lines, packaging machines, blow moulding machines, AC/DC drives, motors, PLC's, wiring and more.
- Collaborate with the production team to address engineering challenges promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
- Provide technical support to improve production processes and equipment reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
- Support the implementation of new machinery and technologies.
Profile
A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have:
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within an engineering context.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
