Tradewind are currently recruiting for cover supervisor for a full-time role in a large vibrant catholic academy in north Manchester.
The role is from September 2025 on a full-time temporary basis.
The Role
Cover Supervisor Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30 pm
The role will include:
- Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
- Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
- Delivering pre-planned lessons
- Using provided resources to encourage learning
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom
- Developing independent study skills and peer learning
- Pastoral and learning support
- Managing handover back to the teacher
- Experience of teaching or covering PE , Science, English or Maths would be beneficial

To join us and be successful in this cover supervisor role, you will need to:
- a minimum of six week's experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers
- A referee Tradewind can contact to take a detailed reference to account for this experience
- Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
- Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent qualification
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
