Tradewind are currently recruiting for cover supervisor for a full-time role in a large vibrant catholic academy in north Manchester.

The role is from September 2025 on a full-time temporary basis.

The Role

Cover Supervisor Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30 pm

The role will include:

  • Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
  • Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons
  • Using provided resources to encourage learning
  • Managing the behaviour within the classroom
  • Developing independent study skills and peer learning
  • Pastoral and learning support
  • Managing handover back to the teacher
  • Experience of teaching or covering PE , Science, English or Maths would be beneficial
