Location: Trafford Park, Manchester Hours: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00, Friday: 06:00 - 12:00
Our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Trafford Park, Manchester, is seeking an experienced Cushion Upholstery Sewing Machinist to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality cushions.
Stitch a variety of fabrics and materials to specification, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Assemble and upholster cushion components with precision.
Conduct quality checks on all finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.
Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cushion Upholstery Sewing Machinist, with a strong background in furniture manufacturing or a related industry.
Ability to read and understand production specifications and upholstery patterns.
Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and hand tools for upholstery work.
Strong attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
