Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
  • Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including sign-ups, tenancy inspections, and addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB).
  • Take swift and effective action on medium to high-level ASB cases, working closely with tenants, police, and other partner agencies.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections and home visits to maintain high standards and build strong relationships with tenants.
  • Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date, meeting regulatory and safeguarding standards.

What We'd Love to See from You:
  • Proven experience in tenancy or housing management, including ASB and tenancy enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.

This role is offering an hourly rate of 25 - 26 per hour

Manchester is easily commutable from surrounding areas, with excellent train connections to the city centre, major bus routes, and direct access to key motorways like the M60 and M56, making it an ideal location for both local and regional commuters.
