Location: Middleton
Contract Type: Long-Term (Starting January 2026)
Salary: £90–£115 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking committed and skilled Secondary Learning Support Assistants for A long-term role beginning in January 2026. You will be joining a dynamic and inclusive secondary environment where the focus is on achieving the very best for every young person. Working across Years 7–11, you will help students make strong academic and personal progress while building positive and supportive relationships.

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome candidates from a range of professional backgrounds, including:
Youth Support Workers – skilled in mentoring and guiding young people
Community and Outreach Workers – experienced in engagement and communication
Sports Coaches or applicants with a sports background – highly desirable for supporting behaviour, resilience and wellbeing
Behaviour Mentors, Residential Support Workers, and experienced TAs

If you have experience supporting young people in any capacity, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small-group SEN support
• Assist with behaviour management and implement consistent strategies
• Support the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
• Act as a mentor to pupils requiring additional academic or pastoral support
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams and external professionals
• Encourage student progress, engagement and resilience
