We are looking to recruit a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant tosupport students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school with excellent facilities. This position needs an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience working with students of all abilities, and someone who can help engage students on a one-to-one basis.

  • Provide individual support and manage behaviour
  • Assist with various tasks like preparing materials, delivering interventions, and ensuring student well-being
  • Help the students to participate in lessons
  • Help engage them with the curriculum and adapt teaching methods
  • Work with Teachers and parents.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help students manage challenging behaviours

Successful candidates must possess the following:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain)
  • A minimum of 2 references, cover the last 2 years
  • Legal Right to Work in the UK
  • Valid Safeguarding Certificate
