Role: Lecturer in Brickwork/Construction
Location: Greater Manchester
Type: Full time temporary
Rate: 35 - 45 per hour
Eden Brown are looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Lecturer on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
This is a full time temporary role until the end of the end of the academic year.
You will teach students across Level 1 to Level 3 T Levels, providing them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons in brickwork
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Promote a positive learning environment and foster student engagement.
* Stay up to date with industry developments and T Level specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant qualification in Brickwork/Construction
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable.
* Industry experience
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
This will be to teach the following:
* Brickwork Practical
* Level 1 certificate in construction
* T Level in construction theory
* Essential skills for industry
* Generic construction
A DBS is also needed for this role.
