Class 2/ Cat C Hiab - Driver / Yard Team

Based: Mansfield / Permanent

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the areas leading organisations. The role does not involve moving pallets from from A-Z or working within high volume parcel distribution.

Having previous experienceof driving Class 2/Cat C Hiab vehiclesandideally competent with slinging and lifting techniques, the post involves the safe and secure loading of specialist equipment and machinery, driving to site and assisting site teams with the offload and positioning of deliveries.

This is a permanent, secure rolewhere each day is different. Working between site teams, engineers and the main headquarters, it is essential that applicants have the ability to be communicate well in a professional manner and have the drive to be an active team player. Safeworking is a core element of the business ethos, applicants should have a strong commitment to adherence to all healthand safety/compliance standards.

With driver CPC and relevant tachograph knowledge, applicants should have the flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends as dictated by client site arrangements. The ability to have nights out is also required from time to time - additional reward is paid for weekend working and nights out.

Other desirable skills include knowledge/licence to operateforklift trucks, previous use of data entry systems and basic maintenance, although training will be provided if required.

Training will be provided for other elements of the post linked to the specialist industry sector.

Significant scope for additional overtime, long term personal learning and development and the abilityto affect reward.
