Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of PPM schedules, with all associated documentation accurately finished as per procedures.
  • Execute reactive maintenance work within agreed timescales, meticulously completing all required paperwork.
  • Promptly identify faults beyond repair, advise the Line Manager of findings, and suggest appropriate replacement options.
  • Maintain all technical and compliance records, ensuring they're consistently up to date.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota (minimum 4 weeks/year) and take responsibility for arranging and communicating any necessary cover for absences (holidays, unforeseen circumstances) to your line manager.

Essential:

  • NVQ/C&G qualification in Refrigeration
  • Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or a comparable CITB qualification
  • Completion of a recognised Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
