Our client has a strong reputation for delivering bespoke electrical solutions across data centres, healthcare, government, and commercial sectors, working on high-profile projects.

Due to significant growth and expansion, we require an experienced Design Engineer to join their expanding team and take lead of multiple electrical / building services projects throughout the UK and Europe.

What's involved for the Design Engineer

  • Produce route and layout drawings using Revit and CAD software.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and project teams to create detailed drawings of the company's products.
  • Engage with Revit models and utilize Autodesk Docs for efficient file sharing and project coordination.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers, manufacturing staff, and installation contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct occasional on-site surveys to support design and installation planning.
  • Work alongside the Engineering Department to deliver customer-focused solutions from project initiation through to completion.
  • Comprehensive product training will be provided to support the successful candidate's development.

What you'll need…

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Inventor and Revit is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems or building services is beneficial.
  • Capable of interpreting and understanding technical and engineering drawings.
  • Competent in the use of standard IT tools and software.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.
