Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer (Power BI & VBA)Location: Mansfield – site based Mon-FriSalary: £40,000-£45,000
Elevation IT & Data are please to exclusively supporting an ambitious and growing business in Mansfield recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer. This is a brand-new role and is the ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for turning data into insights and empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions. You will design and build Power BI dashboards, develop automated solutions using VBA and work across departments to ensure data is accessible, accurate and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs
- Develop DAX formulas to create calculated fields, KPIs and performance metrics
- Navigate and interpret SQL-based data structures and schemas for efficient data sourcing
- Gather, document and translate business requirements into clear and functional reporting solutions
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimise data visibility and usage
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI dashboards and tools
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support strategic and operational initiatives
- Build and maintain VBA automation tools (e.g. Excel macros) to streamline data transformation and report generation
- Create reusable templates and reporting logic to enable scalable, automated reporting solutions
We are keen to speak with Data professionals who have:
- Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL
- Proficiency in VBA scripting and Excel automation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
