Due to growth our client are looking for someone to join our busy in-house workshop team. The job is based at the Head Office on the industrial estate in Blidworth. The current team is responsible for the repair & maintenance of a range of agricultural equipment including mowers, tractors, strimmers, chainsaws etc as well as servicing and maintaining over 30 vehicles including trailers all in-house, it can be a very busy and challenging environment.
We are looking for someone with Agricultural plant & machinery experience, a vehicle maintenance nvq/qualification and full clean driving license with towing capacity is vital as driving to breakdowns and towing are part of the role. Knowledge of the Operators License will be advantageous and welding experience is also preferable. The candidate will ideally have experience in this type of business or similar as although training will be given we need someone who can work under their own steam as well as lead and be a part of the team.
Candidates should have a can do attitude, willing to work to challenging timescales and be flexible, being able to work overtime when needed to get the job done to ensure all our team of over 60 staff remain out on site working.
Hours of work are approximately 50 hours per week between 7.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday as the business needs and possibly some Saturday mornings.
Salary circa 35k depending on experience.
