Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end management of subcontract accounts from procurement through final valuation
  • Drive negotiation processes and strengthen financial acumen through subcontractor onboarding
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment processing to maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Partner with site teams to identify, capture, and value change events as they occur
  • Maintain detailed variation tracking systems for effective project cost management
  • Challenge and negotiate client assessments to optimize commercial outcomes
  • Support scheduling teams with application processes and documentation
  • Build strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Act as commercial liaison across project stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in subcontract account management and cost control within construction
  • Solid understanding of contract procedures and variation valuation processes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with confidence managing multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational abilities
