Clinical Lead – Residential Care Home | Mansfield
Salary: £21.00 per hour | Full-Time | Permanent

A high quality, award winning residential care home in Mansfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join its leadership team. Known for its warm and welcoming environment, the home provides outstanding Nursing, Residential, and Dementia Care within a setting that balances comfort with high standards of professionalism.

The home features a variety of beautifully designed communal lounges and dining rooms, creating a supportive and vibrant atmosphere for residents. The Role:
The Clinical Lead will play a key role in maintaining and developing the high standards of care the home is known for. This position combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, ensuring both residents and staff receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the care and nursing teams in delivering safe, person-centred care
  • Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance
  • Provide mentoring, training, and professional guidance to staff, supported by the in-house training officer
  • Conduct audits and drive quality assurance processes across the home
  • Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external bodies to ensure the best outcomes for residents
  • Champion the home’s philosophy of care, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being

The Ideal Candidate:

  • NMC-registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) – essential
  • Proven clinical experience in elderly or dementia care
  • Previous leadership experience within a care home or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
  • Passionate about quality improvement and person-centred care
  • A strong leader who can inspire and develop a dedicated team
