A high quality, award winning residential care home in Mansfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join its leadership team. The Role:
The Clinical Lead will play a key role in maintaining and developing the high standards of care the home is known for. This position combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, ensuring both residents and staff receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the care and nursing teams in delivering safe, person-centred care
- Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance
- Provide mentoring, training, and professional guidance to staff, supported by the in-house training officer
- Conduct audits and drive quality assurance processes across the home
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external bodies to ensure the best outcomes for residents
- Champion the home’s philosophy of care, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being
The Ideal Candidate:
- NMC-registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) – essential
- Proven clinical experience in elderly or dementia care
- Previous leadership experience within a care home or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
- Passionate about quality improvement and person-centred care
- A strong leader who can inspire and develop a dedicated team
