Job Summary
As a Client Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing their accounts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services. You will work closely with the owner/director to nurture client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of accountancy services
  • Act as the key liaison between clients and internal team, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff and support their professional development.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development efforts.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant accounting standards, legislation, and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage client deadlines effectively.
  • Attend client meetings, either in person or remotely, as required.


Qualifications and Skills
ACA / ACCA qualified OR qualified by experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Experience in mentoring or supervising junior team members.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
