About the Role and Client:
Our client, a respected manufacturing company, seeks a skilled
Purchasing Manager to oversee the sourcing and procurement of quality materials, products, and services. You’ll lead the purchasing department, ensuring timely delivery to support production plans and business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies, including cost reduction initiatives.
- Track and report KPIs to improve effectiveness and vendor performance.
- Negotiate contracts and assess supplier suitability through audits and visits.
- Manage supply agreements and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Oversee SAP data accuracy and materials requirement planning.
- Collaborate on risk management strategies for supply chain constraints.
- Lead outsourcing opportunities and contract negotiations.
- Stay informed on market trends and manage importation processes.
- Negotiate improved costs for CAPEX projects and energy contracts.
- Support change management and new product introductions.

Candidate Requirements:
- CIPS qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year SAP experience.
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
