About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the strategic reconfiguration of a manufacturing facility in Market Drayton. This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful delivery of a large-scale transformation project, designed to enhance efficiency, scalability, and safety within our operations.
You will take ownership of the full project lifecyclefrom planning and stakeholder engagement to execution, risk management, and commissioningwhile ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major facility reconfiguration project.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, HSE, and Supply Chain teams.
- Manage external contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Provide clear and regular reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Champion best practices in project governance, health & safety, and change management.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing complex capital projects in a live manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of factory layout design, equipment installation, utilities, and process flow.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Experience with reconfiguration or brownfield redevelopment projects is highly desirable.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Prince2, Agile).
- Engineering or technical background preferred (degree or equivalent experience).
