- £28,000 - £32,000
- Hybrid working; 2 days on-site, 3 days WFH – 37 hours per week
- Commission scheme and discretionary annual bonus (following completion of probationary period)

Duties and responsibilities:
- Professionally representing the business to a wide range of stakeholders by phone, email and occasionally in person
- Delivering agreed sales targets whilst upholding brand values
- Identifying opportunities to maximise value through sales and business development
- Managing and developing existing relationships with Members and Associate Members to sell a range of products including advertising, training courses, and events packages
- Working with peers and developing relationships with our other departments to drive sales and meet the overall mission and objectives of the organisation
- Attending relevant industry events to build relationships and stay informed.
- Keeping up to date with external trends and competitor activity
Skills and experience:
- Proven track record of success in a business development role, ideally in a B2B environment
- Experience within the logistics industry or a membership association is preferred but is not essential
- Highly accomplished at building long-term stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Commercially astute, self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently
- IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Office
- Positive, proactive working approach with a helpful and engaging approach
- A valid Driving Licence is necessary for the requirements of the role
