Are you ready for your next challenge? Do you enjoy working with children and their families to create lasting positive change? We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our Family Residential Centre team.

??????????? About the Service

This unique residential service supports up to 3 families at a time, offering specialist help to parents navigating challenges such as:

  • Moderate to high learning needs
  • Domestic abuse recovery
  • Substance/alcohol misuse
  • Mental health difficulties or past trauma

While staying at this home, families receive parenting support from our team, with assessments led by the local authority. Our approach is supportive and empowering — focusing on role modelling, guidance, routines, boundaries, and positive parenting.

?? What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll:?? Build trusting relationships with families to encourage independence and well-being?? Support and guide a team of Residential Support Workers?? Provide hands-on help around the home (e.g., cooking, cleaning)?? Maintain clear, accurate documentation and records?? Ensure safeguarding and safety protocols are followed?? Work collaboratively with professionals, parents/carers, and agencies?? Support families with structure, parenting skills, and practical advice

? What We’re Looking For

�? A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete it)?? At least 2 years' experience in a similar setting, and 1 year in a supervisory/shift leader role?? A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection?? Strong communication and interpersonal skills�? Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends/bank holidays?? Willingness to travel to nearby homes if needed (Hinckley, Coalville, Syston, Mountsorrel)
