Paralegal - Based Marlborough

Basic Salary - £30,000 up to £60,000 depending on experience, 34 days holidays, pension, this is an office based with flexible working hours, professional development, training and career progression

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Paralegal or a Qualified Solicitor who is detail-oriented and thrives in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Paralegal or Qualified Solicitor, you will have a Degree in Law with a genuine interest in supporting the Agricultural and Commercial Property industry, (highly desirable, but not essential). Any knowledge of Land Registry procedures would be an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities
  • Proficient using case management software and MS Office, Word Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • A strong team player who can work collaboratively within a small team while also working independently
  • Have a strong client focus with an empathetic approach when dealing with clients during challenging times.

Duties

  • You will assist fee earners with agricultural and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and renewable schemes.
  • Conduct legal research and drafting documents such as contracts, transfers, and lease agreements.
  • Prepare land registry applications and managing post-completion formalities.
  • Carry out property searches and analysing results to advise fee earners and clients.
  • Manage client correspondence and ensuring all communications are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Organising and maintaining client files, ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
  • Supporting the team with administrative duties as needed.
