Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Component Engineer for a contract role based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting electronic component selection and dealing with queries on electronic parts.
- Identifying and sourcing replacements for obsolete components.
- Tracking and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Analysing design margins and making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
- Maintaining documentation in accordance with Mil Standards.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with electronic component selection and obsolescence management.
- Familiarity with tracking regulations and standards within the Defence sector.
- Understanding of Mil Standard requirements.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the defence or aerospace industries is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively on-site
