Job Title: Â Geography Teacher (GCSE level).
Salary: Â MPS.
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: September 2025
Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable geography teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate would be passionate about the physical processes and social aspects of life, helping students to engage with the lesson and achieve or exceed target grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
- Participate in school activities and events.
- Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
- Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching geography at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
