Description
- Oversee and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice on health and safety matters to project teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programmes.
- Maintain accurate records of all health and safety activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Act as the main point of contact for health and safety queries within the construction department.
Profile
A successful H&S Advisor should have:
- A recognised qualification in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction and property industries.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and deliver training sessions.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating health and safety risks.
