About the Role

As a Composite Fitter, you will play a key role in producing precision-engineered composite assemblies that meet exacting quality standards. Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, you’ll carry out fitting, shaping, trimming, bonding, and assembly of a wide range of components.

You will:

  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
  • Trim, shape and fit composite parts using hand and power tools.
  • Bond composite components using adhesives, resins and specialist materials.
  • Assemble parts in the correct sequence to ensure alignment, fit and finish.
  • Conduct visual inspections and identify defects or deviations.
  • Follow established quality procedures and health & safety standards.
  • Work closely with the Fitting Team Lead and Engineering teams to resolve challenges and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an organised, safe working area and proper material/tool controls.
  • Accurately record fitting and assembly activities.
  • Take responsibility for continually developing your composites knowledge.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • At least 2 years’ proven experience in composite fitting.
  • Strong background in trimming, bonding, assembly and fitting of components for Motorsport, Automotive or Aerospace.
  • Confident use of hand tools, power tools and air tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
