We are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist for one of our Accountancy clients based in Derbyshire. With a strong reputation across the North and growing presence.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of a proactive and efficient payroll team, responsible for end-to-end payroll, client management and maintaining compliance and delivering excellent client service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete payroll lifecycle - weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually - for a diverse UK client base
  • Ensure timely and accurate RTI submissions and year-end reporting for HMRC compliance
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a busy payroll role, ideally within a bureau or multi-client environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension auto-enrolment
  • Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator and proactive team player
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
