Job Title: Estimating Quantity Surveyor

Location: East Midlands (Office-based with local travel)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (Typically 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors as part of an experienced team, handling a range of responsibilities related to pricing and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing works ranging from 1,000 to 500,000
  • Liaising with subcontractors and obtaining competitive quotations
  • Preparing pricing for labour, plant, materials, and subcontract packages
  • Commercial management of projects once on site
  • Pricing variations during live projects
  • Preparing subcontract orders
  • Completing CVR documents for larger projects and commercial sheets for smaller schemes

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in estimating and quantity surveying
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience managing subcontractor payments and dealing with clients
  • Full UK driving licence (site visits required within 50-mile radius)
