Description
A HSE Advisor (Regional) will:
- Advise and guide all staff on issues related to health, safety and environment.
- Travel often between various Derbyshire and Lincolnshire sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Provide COSHH assessments where required and ensure effectiveness of Supply Chain documentation.
- Deliver training sessions on health and safety procedures.
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to reinforce safety measures.
- Monitor fire precautions to ensure compliance.
- Report on health and safety observations and suggest improvements.
- Involved in the investigation and reporting of all incidents.
Profile
A successful HSE Advisor (Regional) should have:
- A strong background (5 years or more) in HSE advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CDM and Hard Facilities Management experience.
- The ability to conduct risk assessments effectively.
- Experience in delivering health and safety training.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- NEBOSH qualified.
- IOSH (desirable).
- Defence, Healthcare or high-risk environment experience (desirable).
- A background in the Building and Construction sector.
