Description

A HSE Advisor (Regional) will:

  • Advise and guide all staff on issues related to health, safety and environment.
  • Travel often between various Derbyshire and Lincolnshire sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Provide COSHH assessments where required and ensure effectiveness of Supply Chain documentation.
  • Deliver training sessions on health and safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to reinforce safety measures.
  • Monitor fire precautions to ensure compliance.
  • Report on health and safety observations and suggest improvements.
  • Involved in the investigation and reporting of all incidents.

Profile

A successful HSE Advisor (Regional) should have:

  • A strong background (5 years or more) in HSE advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CDM and Hard Facilities Management experience.
  • The ability to conduct risk assessments effectively.
  • Experience in delivering health and safety training.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • NEBOSH qualified.
  • IOSH (desirable).
  • Defence, Healthcare or high-risk environment experience (desirable).
  • A background in the Building and Construction sector.
