SEN Teaching Assistant - Royston
Salary: 22,996 - 25,068 (actual, dependent on experience/qualifications)
Hourly Rate: 12.87 - 14.03
Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, term time only

We are looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, and a diverse range of additional needs. This role includes personal care support, 1:1 and small group assistance, and helping children engage safely in learning.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting children with SEN in class and during activities

Providing personal care and emotional support as required

Implementing individual support plans and behaviour strategies

Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to create an inclusive environment

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or complex needs

Confidence in personal care and practical support

Patient, resilient, and nurturing team player

Relevant qualifications desirable but not essential
