Social Worker - Children's Services (Doncaster)

Doncaster Council is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children's Services team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive environment, making a significant contribution to the well-being of vulnerable children and families.

About the Role:Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs and risks.Develop and implement person-centered care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners (health, education, police) to coordinate support and resources.Engage with families, building strong relationships and empowering them to create positive change.Manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing urgent cases and adhering to statutory timescales.Participate in regular supervision and contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:Registered with Social Care England.Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience working within children's services is highly desirable.Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to children's social care.Ability to build rapport and trust with children, families, and other professionals.Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
