Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and an understanding of mechanical processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will work closely with other team members to achieve project goals while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workspace.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools.
- Mix paints and other materials according to specifications.
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Understanding of mechanical processes related to painting tasks.
- Experience as a paint sprayer is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting applications.
- Strong painting skills with attention to detail for achieving high-quality finishes.
- Basic maths skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities accurately.
